FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Last update: April 23, 2025.

Who is going to Camp Kupono from GracePoint Church?

All current middle and high school students from GracePoint are invited to attend Camp Kupono.

The Camp Kupono website mentions two camps.  Which one should my student register for?

Despite the stated age restrictions on the camp website, GracePoint Church will be sending our middle and high school students to the Teen Camp as one group.

What should each student bring?

A packing list, including bedding, clothing, and other essential items can be found on the official Camp Kupono website at https://campkupono.org/camp

Are cell phones allowed?

As mentioned in the packing list section of the website, students will be asked to leave their phones at home. Any phones that show up at camp will be surrendered to camp staff and kept safe until the end of camp.

Will our church’s youth leaders be attending the camp?

The camp will be staffed by a specially trained group from the mainland, who will be leading all the different components of the camp.  Although our youth group leaders will not be part of the staff, Pastor Peter will be dropping by the camp periodically.

We cannot afford the camp fee, even with the financial aid.  Can I still send my student?

YES! We don’t want finances being the reason a student misses camp!  Please contact Pastor Peter for information regarding financial aid.

When is the deadline to take advantage of the financial aid?

Students must register on the camp website and submit their fee to Pastor Peter by Sunday, May 18.
