EVERY DAY GENEROSITY

It's amazing to see God's creativity, love, and generosity on full display each and every day. Our church family generously gives of their time, service, talents, and treasures through so many acts of worship.

Whether it be through our worship teams, serving with volunteer teams on the weekend, using online giving or dropping your offering in the giving basket—each and every act of generosity matters and helps change the lives of others. Everyone's gifts and service are acts of worship that help reflect God's glory and spread the gospel!

**PLEASE NOTE: During the recent merge of two churches over the course of the last several months, there had previously been special instructions for giving by check.  However, as of January 1, 2023, if you give an offering by check, you may now make it out to "GracePoint Church."

I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ. - Philemon 1:6

SERVE GENEROUSLY

God has called us to serve generously. We do this when we respond to God by supporting the needs of the church, community and world—when we serve others and share our time, talents and finances. We do this when we pray for people, show love, and live each day with God's wisdom. We do this by celebrating what God is doing—in our church and in the lives of others.

We’re passionate about reaching people for Christ—and we believe God has called us to do this. Will you respond to God’s call in partnering together in reaching people one person and one community at a time.

WHY WE GIVE

As a church, we believe that we are called to respond to the generosity of the gospel by giving to further the gospel in our community and world. Giving generously should reflect our relationship with God through Jesus. We express our faith and love to Him by honoring Him as the source of everything we have. Scriptural giving should be consistent, a proportion of our income we have committed to God, done cheerfully, and without pressure or manipulation.

HOW WE SHOULD GIVE

Our giving is one way we express our commitment to Christ. Giving is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others. At GracePoint Church, we teach that giving should be based on these four areas after much prayer and seeking God:

We should give joyfully

“Each person should do as he has decided in his heart—not reluctantly or out of compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

We should give generously

“You will be enriched in every way for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us.”  2 Corinthians 9:11

We should give consistently

“Now about the collection for the Lord’s people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.”1 Corinthians 16:1-2
