SMALL GROUP / FOLLOW-UP QUESTIONS 

  1. (Icebreaker, optional) If you knew that you only had three days left to live, how would you live your life differently, if at all? 
  2. (Review from last week’s message) What made Jesus worthy to open the seals of the scroll?  (His sacrifice for mankind - Rev. 5:9f) 
  3. Read Revelation 6:1-8.
  4. Which of the four horsemen sound the most familiar? Why? 
  5. If Jesus wasn’t in the picture, what tone would this passage have?  Instead, what difference does it make to know that Jesus is victorious at the end of it all? 
  6. How can end times prophecies be encouraging to Christ-followers? (they help Christ-followers be prepared, knowing beforehand what will happen; help us trust God, as the God who is sovereign [he rules and is in control of everything] and fulfills His promises; etc...)
  7. Knowing what happens in this passage, as well as the fact that our only hope is found in Christ alone, what impact should this knowledge have on the everyday life of Christ-followers? (Urgency of sharing Jesus’ story with ours, etc…) 
  8. Close in prayer.
