Icebreaker question: What is one of your greatest accomplishments or greatest challenge you’ve overcome?  OR, For what or for whom would you be willing to die?

Read Revelation 6:9-17.

What does it say about the character of Jesus-followers that they would would be willing to die for testifying about Him?  (ex: humility, passion, fortitude, integrity, etc.)

What makes it difficult to share Jesus’ story with others with that kind of conviction (so strong to be willing to die for His sake)?  What would make it easier? (possible answers may include: encouragement from fellow believers, joining each other in standing for Christ, solid foundation in God’s Word, etc.)

How does God’s character as a merciful God help to explain why God may seem to delay judgment of the world? (He wants to see many come to faith in Christ - cf. 2 Peter 3:9, etc….)

 

 

How can trust in a faithful God during the end times be like a child with a parent in a dark room?

How much do you look forward to being in the presence of God?  Why?

How can your small group encourage or pray for you this week?
